JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Emergency School is a temporary measure for a student, focusing on planning and creating conditions for long-term solutions and continuity in a student's schooling. Our emergency school team consists of teachers, special educators, counselors, and social pedagogues. We are now seeking an experienced special educator as our current one is retiring.

As a special educator at the emergency school, your focus will be on teaching and learning. During a student's placement, you will engage in dialogue and collaboration with the student, guardians, and various professionals at the home school. Assessments and investigations of the student's needs are part of the tools used to identify success factors for the continued schooling.

We are looking for someone who is well-grounded in special education work. You are accustomed to working at the organizational, group, and individual levels with promoting, preventive, and remedial measures together with various professionals in student health. You have extensive experience in classroom-related work both as a teaching teacher and as a special educator in small teaching groups or individual instruction. Collaborative learning conversations are one of your working tools. You are skilled at documenting all aspects of the work, from educational investigations to work notes.

The systematic quality work is central to the emergency school's operations, and you will work on development issues related to safety and study peace, both during a placement and in the interim periods when the emergency school does not have students. Your work will encompass all parts of the strength chain.

You know that it is essential to identify a student's needs to meet, respond to, and participate in the continued planning of appropriate measures. QUALIFICATIONS

• Certified teacher in Swedish with a focus on grades 4-9.
• Well-documented experience as a teacher and special educator.
• Experience in systematically working with assessments, investigations, analysis, and documentation.
• Certified special educator with a focus on language, reading, and writing learning or language disorders is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Office 365 and its digital applications.
