The Education Administration in Ronneby has focused on collegial learning! The operations should be permeated by collegial learning and methods based on scientific grounds and proven experience. In the Education Administration, we work according to the “red thread”, a common view on development and learning with a democratic value base from preschool, primary school, adapted school to upper secondary and adult education.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will teach social studies, entrepreneurship, and business economics. You will also assist as a mentor in a class. We have chosen to have two mentors in each class.

In your role as a teacher, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the educational work both individually and in teams. You should also find strategies to reach each individual student and support them in their knowledge development. Together with other colleagues, you will focus on the school’s value base and view of knowledge. An active values work is a given for you. You will be part of a team with other educators.

If you are new in your role as an educator, there are lead teachers who will support and help you in your planning and evaluation. There are also other colleagues to ask and discuss with. We do this together.

In your role, you are involved in creating a safe foundation for our students. An important part of the work is to stimulate and motivate students to develop their abilities and create opportunities for learning. It is desirable that you are well acquainted with the school’s governing documents.

QUALIFICATIONS

You should have the desire and interest to provide our students with as much knowledge as possible. You should also have the ability to collaborate.

You must have a teaching license. If you have pedagogical training or other qualifications that the employer assesses as equivalent, you may be considered.

It is an advantage if you have previously worked as a teacher.

You should be able to express yourself well in speech and writing. You should be able to communicate and collaborate with colleagues, students, guardians, and other professionals you meet in your profession.

You should have basic knowledge of Office 365 and relevant systems for the position.
