JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Östra Torpskolan is located in Lyckeby and is a two-parallel school with approximately 260 students.

As a teacher in the leisure home, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on a pedagogical activity based on the governing documents and the students' needs. You create a safe and stimulating environment where students can develop social, creative, and practical skills. The role includes organizing activities both indoors and outdoors, as well as adapting the activities based on different ages and conditions. You work closely with colleagues in the team and participate in joint planning, development work, and meetings. The job also involves building good relationships with students and guardians, as well as contributing to the school's value-based work. You will primarily work in our leisure home for our preschool class, but work at 'Storfritids' (ages 7-12) also occurs as we collaborate around openings and closings. Collaboration in the form of outdoor play and movement, both during lesson time and at recess with the preschool class, occurs during the school day. Contact and collaboration with guardians is an important part of the work.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are well acquainted with the school's governing documents, have the ability to vary teaching and activities based on students' needs. You are a secure adult and a good role model who can connect with students, see each individual, and create a good learning environment. You motivate students by allowing them to participate and make their own suggestions. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

You are a licensed teacher/applied for a teaching license with the authority to teach in leisure homes.

You need to present a valid extract from the criminal record register.

You have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.
