JOB DESCRIPTION

Do you want to make a difference as a support assistant for individuals receiving daily activities support? We are looking for a new colleague for the Business Group - a daily activity program focused on tasks related to companies and associations. In the role of support assistant, you are a key person in supporting and guiding citizens based on a pedagogical and practical approach in their activities, including care/hygiene, activities, and skills training.

Based on the citizen's implementation plan, you will work to establish, manage, and follow up on the goals of the implementation plan and realize the highest possible quality and participation in the activities.

With a focus on good and clear communication as well as good interaction, your task is to create calm and security for the citizens regardless of the situation. Within the organization, you will primarily collaborate with other support assistants, support educators, and management to continuously develop the operations and achieve set goals.

You will have your working hours allocated to the Daily Activities premises where you, together with colleagues, receive and offer activities to approximately 50 citizens. The operations are divided into different groups based on needs and interests, where the business group has its own address and is visited by about 10 citizens.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

• High school diploma or vocational qualification from the health and care program.
• At least one year of work experience in functional support/LSS where you have worked with individuals with autism or challenging behavior and/or clarifying pedagogy. It is an advantage if you have worked in daily activities.
• Good computer skills and documentation habits
• Good ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish
• At least a B driver's license for a manual transmission vehicle
• Good physical ability, as the work involves activities with citizens and care aspects.

In addition to the above, it is especially important that you have good self-awareness, are secure in yourself, are attentive, take responsibility, and collaborate well with everyone you meet. You are flexible, open, and see opportunities instead of obstacles, and enjoy having different workplaces during a workweek. You use your analytical skills and strive to improve the operations for our citizens.

Before an employment offer, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record must be presented.

The position will be filled provided that the necessary political decisions are made and that it is not needed for internal use.
