About Finjagården and the working method

Finjagården works with group treatment combined with individual interventions. We operate based on structured treatment methods such as:

  • DBT

  • CBT

  • ACT

  • EMDR

  • CRA

  • PE

These are complemented by a quality system that ensures documented treatment results and creates transparency, participation, and security for clients, relatives, and clients.


We work from a biopsychosocial perspective, which means that we work in teams with different functions (coach, therapist, nurse) with the client. We take into account biological, psychological, and social aspects in the treatment process. To succeed, good internal collaboration and insight into each other's work is required.


About the unit – The Villa

The Villa has a total of 7 places and accepts women and men aged 18–60 years with mental health issues, such as:

  • Emotional instability

  • PTSD

  • Self-harm issues

  • Eating disorders

  • Neuropsychiatric disabilities

  • OCD

  • Anxiety issues

  • Depression

  • Suicidal and self-destructive behaviors

Please note: no substance abuse is accepted at The Villa.


Who are you?

As a person, you are responsible, relationship-building, flexible, and secure. In this role, it is important that you show great empathy while having the ability to set boundaries when necessary.


The work involves close and trusting collaboration with colleagues, which requires:

  • good communication and collaboration skills

  • ability to distinguish between the personal and the professional

  • professional approach towards clients, clients, and colleagues

You are unpretentious and take responsibility to do your utmost every day to help clients achieve their goals. We place great importance on personal suitability. A criminal record check will be required before employment.


For this position, you are/ have:

  • Social educator, social worker, treatment educator, or other completed post-secondary education that the employer assesses as equivalent

  • Several years of experience in group treatment work

  • Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

  • Good system skills as documentation occurs to a high extent

  • Driving license B

Meritorious:

  • Knowledge of neuropsychiatric diagnoses
