Kooperativet Hand i Hand is a member-driven organization founded in 1995 for individuals entitled to assistance. Our members are located in Skåne, Halland, southern Småland, Västra Götaland, Stockholm, and Jämtland. We have offices in Halmstad, Hässleholm, and Malmö. We support our members with everything from applying for hours with Försäkringskassan/the municipality to personnel issues regarding personal assistants. We believe that the work of a personal assistant is one of the most important jobs there is, as it provides an opportunity for another person to live their life like everyone else.

I am now looking for a personal assistant to complement my assistance team. I am a man in my 60s living in Tyringe. I have been diagnosed with MS and need help with most things during the day and night. I would be happy to share more about myself in a potential job interview.

I am looking for someone who is positive, friendly, and flexible. It is a plus if you have worked as a personal assistant before, but it is not a requirement. I would prefer that you have a driver's license. I live in a location that is accessible by public transport, but a driver's license is needed if I want to go out with my car.

As a part-time employee, we expect you to be flexible and able to step in as needed. The working hours can thus vary from time to time. However, the basic shifts are between 19:00 and 16:00 with on-call duty between 23:00 and 07:00. If you wish, there is an opportunity for work on a fixed schedule with one on-call shift per week. In that case, the working hours are between 23:00 and 07:00.
