We are now looking for two colleagues to join our team within Individual and Family Care.

Assignment

Within Care and Support, Individual and Family Care constitutes its own unit, where 18 employees work on the authority side. As a social worker within Children and Youth, you will be part of a workgroup with six dedicated social workers and a senior social worker who works with investigations of children and youth aged 0-18 years. Your tasks will involve conducting investigations based on incoming reports of concern and applications regarding the situation and needs of children and youth for support according to SoL and LVU. You will also follow up on open care interventions and institutional placements. Your tasks will also include collaborating with preschools, schools, healthcare, and the police. Within the unit, we have close cooperation and help each other, contributing to continuous learning in our work. We work according to clear routines and processes that we continuously develop and improve.

Our main focus

Our main focus is to conduct good social work. For us within Children and Youth, this means carrying out investigation processes that are beneficial for the families' change work. When there is a need for interventions, support and treatment are offered as far as possible at home.

Competence

We are looking for someone who has a clear child perspective and is interested in actively developing the operations. You can easily adapt your working methods to changed conditions and act to promote your own development and continuous learning. Furthermore, you have good collaboration skills and are keen to create good relationships. You also have the ability to work independently in your case management and have a sense of responsibility for the authority work you perform.

We welcome you who have a degree in social work and experience in authority work. Experience in assessments, decision proposals, and follow-up of support interventions according to SoL and LVU for children and youth is an advantage. It is important for us to be communicative, clear, and professional both verbally and in writing. Furthermore, we would like you to have experience with the Signs of Safety method, the MI conversation method, child conversations, BBiC, and the operational system Lifecare. A driving license (B) is a requirement for the position.

Permanent full-time employment.
