Technical Preparer with Focus on Electrical

We are now assisting a large company in the defense industry in finding a technically skilled preparer focused on electrical systems. Here you will have the opportunity to work with systems and complex electrical environments in an operation that plays an important role in Sweden's defense capability.

This position is for you who are an electrician and want to work more with documentation and project management rather than just "wrenching". In the role of technical preparer within electrical systems, you will be responsible for developing, reviewing, and compiling technical documentation and work instructions.

Scope: Full-time
Employment Type: The assignment starts as a consulting assignment (fixed-term employment) via Montico, with the goal of transitioning to a permanent position with the company

Job Description

The work requires a good technical understanding and attention to detail. You will analyze drawings and system descriptions to convert them into clear work documentation.

Examples of Job Tasks:

• Develop technical documentation, materials, and documentation
• Read and interpret drawings, technical documentation, and system descriptions
• Manage ordering documentation and coordinate with internal systems, warehouses, and stock
• Act as a technical contact person for purchasing and other functions

We are looking for someone who

• Has a background as an electrician, industrial electrician, or equivalent. Preferably in a marine environment
• Has experience in preparation and documentation within technical operations
• Has a good ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation
• Is used to working independently and solution-oriented
• Has an easy time collaborating and communicating with different functions

Previous experience from defense-related or industrial operations is an advantage. Since the position is security classified, an approved security clearance is required for employment.
