We are now looking for a Warranty Technician with a systems/electrical background for our operations in Hagalund, Stockholm. Are you innovative and enjoy problem-solving? Do you thrive in a role with variety and want to further develop your troubleshooting skills? Then this could be the position for you.
As a Warranty Technician, you and your colleagues will handle Stadler's warranty cases. You will perform troubleshooting on vehicles to identify the cause and determine what actions need to be taken. The faults being investigated are referred to as “claims,” and it will be your and the team's responsibility to investigate what needs to be done and then rectify the faults so that the vehicle can be put back into service. You will work in a small team where communication and collaboration are essential, and since the work is performed at irregular times, you should enjoy this type of work setup. Travel may be required in this position.
We are looking for someone with experience and interest in electrical systems, as some warranty cases may involve troubleshooting why a light is not working, fixing a malfunctioning HVAC system, or replacing a power converter. Experience with the upgrade scope is important, as you will handle that part in your daily work as a Warranty Technician. If you have previously worked with static/dynamic testing and want to deepen your knowledge further, this is a great opportunity.
Typical tasks include:
- Updating inventory status regarding materials for the depot and ensuring that warehouse procedures are followed
- Ensuring that written documentation and reporting are completed after the case has been handled
- Communication with customers and other involved parties
Qualifications we expect you to have:
Requirements:
- Technical education or equivalent experience
- Good Swedish and English skills, both spoken and written
- Driver's license (B)
Meritorious:
- Previous work experience in a similar role
- Valid certification to perform operational safety-classified work on trains
- Previous experience in troubleshooting or maintenance work on X2000
- Troubleshooting within electrical or systems (upgrade scope X2000)
We are looking for someone who is driven, meticulous, and communicative. You should enjoy practical work but also have good administrative skills. As a person, you are self-sufficient, good at problem-solving, and have a high ability to collaborate.
The position involves safety-classified work according to industry standards and requires a passed medical examination according to the Transport Agency's regulations and general advice (TFS 2019:112) on health examinations and health status for personnel with safety-critical tasks in the railway sector.
