About the Position

As a service technician, you will work with troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating measuring instruments for the electrical power industry, with customers located worldwide. You will primarily work with products related to cable fault location, ranging from small handheld instruments to embedded systems in measurement buses.

The products you will work with consist of hardware and software in embedded systems. You will mainly work in our service department, where the pace can sometimes be high, but you will also perform repairs and calibrations on-site at customer locations, primarily in Sweden.

You will work both independently and in a team and enjoy providing the best possible service to our customers. Part of the role will involve supporting customers and external service centers, mostly via email but also over phone/teams.

Your Profile

• Experience in technical service work
• Driver's license (B)
• Ability to read electrical diagrams, enjoy troubleshooting, and have knowledge of soldering
• Ability to express yourself well in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Willingness to travel both nationally and internationally

Desirable Experience

• Field cable fault location
• Previous work with high voltage
• Previous service experience in electronics/electricity, e.g., household appliances or similar
• C & E driver's license is an advantage

Additional Information

Employment type: e.g., The position begins with a 6-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of a permanent position and a fixed monthly salary. Collective agreement within the IF Metall agreement area.
