KFUM Central is now looking for a member host for a temporary position of 75–100 %, with a good chance of extension. We are looking for a service-oriented and committed person who wants to contribute to a safe, welcoming, and functional environment in our association house.

The role of member host

As a member host, you have a central role in our daily operations. You meet members and visitors at the reception, ensure smooth entry, and provide a warm and professional welcome. Your presence creates security in the house, and you ensure that the premises and environments maintain a high standard.

The work is varied and practical. You are responsible for active hosting throughout the association house and staff the reception during your shifts. You assist our visitors, answer questions, and ensure that everyone feels welcome. The role also involves patrolling the premises and gym, handling cleaning and light maintenance, and assisting with the setup of meeting rooms when the house needs to be prepared for various activities. In addition, the position includes some sales and staffing our association café as needed.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of work experience
• Good Swedish in speech and writing.
• Minimum high school diploma.
• Basic computer skills. We work daily with e.g. Teams, chats, emails, and cash systems.

Meritorious

• Previous experience in similar tasks, e.g. through reception, janitorial work, property management, or hosting.
• English in speech and writing.
• If you are handy.

The position will be filled as soon as possible and is a fixed-term employment for 6 months, with a good possibility of extension.

KFUM Central is part of the national organization KFUM, which is Sweden's broadest youth movement and also affiliated with the global YWCA and YMCA movements. The association has about 3000 members and includes sports, music, and camp activities. KFUM Central's premises consist of sports halls, meeting rooms, café, gym, etc., centrally located in Stockholm.
