Omexom in Stockholm is growing! We have won several framework agreements with two of Sweden's largest electricity network companies that extend over several years. Now we need to expand our team!

As a Distribution Electrician, you will be part of a high-performing team responsible for troubleshooting/maintenance/projects of local and regional networks. We handle emergency troubleshooting as well as planned maintenance work with cables/overhead lines/stations at the request of customers in Greater Stockholm.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The position is security classified. In accordance with the Security Protection Act (2018:585), a background check and security interview will be conducted before employment.

The role of Distribution Electrician in troubleshooting/maintenance/projects includes work within our operation and maintenance agreement. You will work with emergency troubleshooting as well as planned maintenance work with cable and overhead lines within low and medium voltage networks at the request of our customer in Greater Stockholm.

• Perform maintenance work, troubleshooting, and repairs in cable cabinets, network stations, cable and overhead line networks.

• Safely work with high and low voltage cables, laying, assembly, splicing, and termination.

• Conduct risk assessments before each new work task.

• Document and report completed work.

• Communicate with customers, operations center, colleagues, and management.

• On-call duty is included in the position.

The position reports to the group manager and is located in Stockholm. You will work from home, and most of your work will be conducted in the field. Furthermore, this is a permanent position with a six (6) month probation period, starting as soon as possible.

YOUR PROFILE

As a Distribution Electrician at Omexom, you need to have several years of experience in the construction of power lines/overhead and maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical networks, cable cabinets, and network stations, as well as having replaced older lines or similar within the energy sector.

You are professionally trained in electrical distribution, ESA, and have a good command of Swedish in both spoken and written forms. Additionally, you have good computer skills and a B driver's license.
