Is a care and nursing home operated by Solna Municipality.

Skoga is beautifully located with a lovely garden in Huvudsta, Solna. Our profile is garden, nature, and outdoor activities, and we offer our residents a varied everyday life with both individual and group activities. We have 100 apartments and about 120 employees. There is a lot happening at Skoga; we believe it is stimulating and important for our residents, and we are highly committed to making everyday life as good as possible for them.

What does the position entail?

As a nurse at Skoga, you will have care responsibility for residents and work closely with nursing staff, whom you will lead during night shifts, ensuring patient-safe and person-centered care. You will collaborate closely with the operations manager, doctors, and paramedics. You will have access to other nursing colleagues, but you will work alongside other care staff during your shift. At the beginning of your employment, you will be offered a mentor. We document in LifeCare HSL.

Each shift includes a report with other nurses who have worked for a handover regarding what has happened during the shift.

The care and nursing in Solna are conducted from a salutogenic perspective, and we therefore see that you share our vision of focusing on the factors that create meaning and context for our residents.

Who are we looking for?

You are a licensed nurse with experience in geriatric care or elderly care. If you have further education in any of these areas, we consider it an advantage. As the job requires oral and written reporting and documentation, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, as well as good computer skills.

As a person, you thrive in a role with a lot of responsibility and are confident in your professional role. You have a good demeanor and strong collaboration skills, can lead others, work independently, and structure and plan your work effectively. You place great importance on delivering high-quality work.

The position is a temporary contract at 100% until the turn of the year, with start date according to agreement, and a chance for a permanent position. The job includes working every third weekend according to the schedule. We warmly welcome your application by February 4, 2026.
