About Bagarevägen

Bagarevägen is a group home for adults according to LSS, located in a quiet area in Stenkullen, Lerum municipality. There are good connections to both Gothenburg and Alingsås via public transport for those who prefer to take the train instead of driving to work.

The residence has six apartments and is focused on adults with autism and/or developmental disabilities. We work with a low-arousal approach and our residence is characterized by clear pedagogical methods. The residence is staffed around the clock with awake night staff and sleeping on-call. We strive, based on a pedagogical approach, to meet individual needs and wishes, so that residents have the best conditions to develop and experience an active and meaningful leisure time. We have our own operational vehicle and transport our clients, so a driver's license is required.

About the role In the role of residential support worker, you will start from the individual needs and wishes of the residents and provide support in daily life based on a pedagogical approach. Together with other staff members, you will work towards making the day meaningful and enriching. You will support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the work is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evenings, weekends, and sleeping on-call.

You will have a group manager close to you who works part of their time in the operation. This could also be a future career opportunity for you.

Your experience and knowledge You who are applying have a high school education in health and care or another equivalent education. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. It is an advantage if you have experience working with the target group. If you have the right qualities, we will support you and provide opportunities for growth.

You enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues, always keeping our clients' best interests in mind in everything you do.
