The Children and Education Board in Hofors municipality consists of about 1,645 children and students and 300 permanent employees. Hofors municipality has three preschool areas with seven preschools spread across both Hofors and Torsåker. We are looking for someone who is eager to be a part of our preschool operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Working with children is fun, developing, and meaningful, but it can also be challenging. It requires personal maturity, such as being able to remain calm even in critical situations, helping children cope with setbacks and conflicts, and respecting children's integrity.

As a substitute, you can work in all of Hofors municipality's various preschool units. The tasks are varied and based on need. You will make yourself available in our TimeCare Pool system when you are able to take shifts.

QUALIFICATIONS

The basic requirement is that you should have completed high school education. It is an advantage if you have attended the Child and Leisure Program.

We prefer that you are multilingual, but it is essential to understand and be understood verbally and in writing in Swedish. You should be able to communicate in Swedish even with the youngest children in the operation and on the phone with adults.

To work as a substitute in preschool, it is important that you have a good ability to collaborate and are calm and attentive in your interactions. You take responsibility and have the ability to make decisions based on well-founded considerations and priorities. Furthermore, you need to be independent and able to build relationships with children and colleagues.

It is an advantage if you have a B driver's license so that you can travel to different locations.
