The operation of Authority and Social Welfare Authority is divided into two units, Adults and Children and Youth, consisting of about 25 employees, including 4 caseworkers in elderly care.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a caseworker, you will primarily work with investigations, assessments, decisions, and follow-ups of interventions according to the Social Services Act. The interventions mainly concern the elderly in need of elderly care in the form of home care, emergency alarms, day activities, contact persons, short-term stays/respite care, and special housing, etc.

The investigative work involves gathering information and compiling and analyzing individuals' needs to then decide and follow up on interventions based on current legislation. You will have close cooperation internally with various functions, but also externally with other authorities and actors. Environmental monitoring is also part of the work to be able to keep up with case law, news in legislation, etc. In our operation, we actively work with preventive measures, legal security, and quality while also caring for the good meeting. In our work, we investigate according to the Individual's Needs in Center (IBIC) in the operational system Combine.

Your workplace is located in and based in Gnosjö, and you will join a team with a lot of experience and joy. As a newcomer, you will receive an introduction. We have weekly meetings, including case guidance. There are good opportunities for further education, and we systematically work with Violence in Close Relationships. There is an opportunity for remote work as long as the operation allows it. QUALIFICATIONS

We primarily seek someone with a degree in social work or other education that the employer finds equivalent. We prefer that you have previous experience in authority operations and thus good knowledge of applicable legislation. In the work, you need to be attentive, flexible, meticulous, and enjoy meeting people in various life situations. You need to be able to work independently, in a structured manner, and prioritize among tasks. You also need to be able to collaborate, and we hope that you contribute to the group's collective development. You master the Swedish language in both speech and writing and have the ability to adapt the information provided to the individuals you meet in your work.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

A driving license (B) is required.
