Your Role and Responsibilities

As a License and Procurement Coordinator in the IT unit at the Swedish Forest Agency, you will play a central and important role in ensuring that the authority has a uniform license management and efficient IT procurement processes.

You will work closely with both the business and the procurement organization, creating structure, quality, and order in our ordering and licensing flows.

The role is broad and combines administrative work with coordination, analysis, service, and dialogue with internal and external parties. You will drive efforts to optimize license usage, follow agreements, conduct procurements according to LOU, and contribute to sound financial management.

As an employee within the IT unit, you will also have the opportunity to work on several of our IT assignments and conduct analyses and investigations based on identified needs.

In your role as a License and Procurement Coordinator, you will among other things:

  • Establish and maintain routines, templates, and instructions
  • Prepare reports, analyses, and decision-making materials
  • Participate in development work and improved working methods

You will also:

  • Be responsible for the administration and follow-up of program and system licenses
  • Ensure correct license inventory
  • Follow up on costs, utilization rates, and license terms
  • Conduct needs analyses together with different parts of the business before larger procurements
  • Quality assure ordering materials and coordinate with the business
  • Follow up on deliveries and compliance with agreements
  • Operationally conduct procurements within applicable state framework agreements

Qualifications and Your Attributes

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience in administrative work within purchasing, license management, procurement, or similar
  • Good understanding of procurement processes and framework agreements
  • Basic knowledge of public procurement (LOU) or a willingness to quickly familiarize yourself with the area
  • Leadership ability to lead smaller assignments within IT
  • Very good ability to work in a structured, meticulous, and independent manner
  • Good computer skills and experience working in various systems and registers
  • Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish

Desirable knowledge:

  • Experience with license management tools or IT-related administrative systems

We offer a permanent position primarily located in Jönköping or at one of our larger offices preferably in southern Sweden. Placement at a location other than Jönköping will involve business trips to the head office at regular intervals.
