We are now looking for an experienced SW Tester / Test Engineer in Connectivity for a long-term consulting assignment with our client in autonomous and connected robotics. The assignment is a crucial part of the development of the next generation of connected products where quality, stability, and performance in wireless communication are critical for the end customer's experience.

About the assignment The assignment is located with our client in Huskvarna and is part of a Connectivity Test team that works with testing and verification of connected modules for both Residential and Professional products. The role involves hands-on gray-box testing of wireless communication solutions at module, integration, and system levels.

You will work closely with both software and hardware development and be responsible for ensuring that the connectivity solutions are ready for integration into finished products. A large part of the assignment involves developing and maintaining automated tests as well as analyzing logs and network traffic to identify and isolate faults.

Responsibilities Testing Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, BLE, GNSS, Radio, and Cellular modules in various environments and on different hardware variants Verification of backend and API connections Design, build, run, and maintain automated regression tests for connectivity Integrate tests in CI environments and nightly test rigs Log, packet, and network analysis for troubleshooting at module, board, system, or backend level Automate repetitive manual tests Contribute to test plans, traceability, test coverage, and release notes Participate in shorter field test sessions to identify new edge cases Create and publish dashboards for pass/fail, test coverage, and flakiness

Requirements At least 3 years of experience in testing wireless communication and backend/API flows Good testing skills according to ISTQB or equivalent Practical experience with sniffers, protocol analysis, and log and packet analysis Experience in test automation within connectivity (BE, Wi-Fi, BLE) Programming/scripting in Python Experience with CI environments such as Jenkins and DevOps tools Experience in gray-box testing Ability to communicate clearly and write structured bug reports B driver's license (required, as field tests are included in the assignment)
