The Artillery Battalion
The Artillery Battalion's three basic training companies handle the annually recurring conscription cohort in three different time perspectives: 10, 12, and 15 months. All are trained to be able to fulfill our main tasks within the brigade structure, to support maneuver and engage higher command targets. The three different companies focus on sensors and staff duties, gun service, and logistics through the supply company. Although the main purpose, to deliver shells, is the same, the companies differ in their training of their conscript units as part of the artillery battalion.
Main Responsibilities
As an instructor, you will serve in the company where your experiences and competencies best match. You will be an instructor during the basic soldier phase, position training, and unit/special instructor, or trained in your wartime position during the exercise series.

Qualifications
- Professional or reserve officer training at least OF 1/SO 6.
- Driver's license B
Personal Qualities
High demands are placed on flexibility, structure, and the ability to work independently. You have good collaboration skills and can meet other people in a respectful manner. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
MERITORIOUS
- Vehicle instructor (equivalent)
- Previously served as an instructor.
- Experience within our functional breadth, i.e., staff duties, gun service, logistics, or sensors

Employment form: permanent or fixed-term RO2 employment. The Swedish Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those who are not employed by the authority.
Employment rate: full-time
Salary: individual salary setting according to the Swedish Armed Forces' agreement. For reserve officers who are state employees, the salary supplement agreement applies.
Work location: Boden
Start date: by agreement.
Working hours are mainly weekdays 07:30-16:30, but weekend and evening work may occur. Business travel may occur in the service. The position is military and involves wartime placement. To meet the Swedish Armed Forces' requirements for physical standards, physical training is included as part of your job responsibilities.

The Boden Artillery Regiment, A 8, is the Swedish Armed Forces' competence center for indirect fire. The regiment preserves and develops competencies, equipment, and methods for future capabilities to detect and hit targets at long distances and with high precision. A 8 has functional responsibility for CAS (Close Air Support) - to lead air support against ground targets and for the weather service within the Army in the Swedish Armed Forces. Combat in winter conditions is a special competence for the unit in Boden.
