At Lunnaskolan, we work together in teams to provide all students with the best possible conditions to achieve the goals of the curriculum. We strive to make education accessible to all students by promoting participation, community, and meaningfulness. We have a holistic view of knowledge, development, and learning, which means that we collaborate closely in teams around the students' entire school day. Together with the team, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on activities in after-school care, where you have your main responsibility. During school hours, you will collaborate with classroom teachers regarding the students.

Lunnaskolan is a F-3 school in Landvetter with after-school care and adapted primary school. The students come from the local area, Önneröd and Tahult. The school consists of three buildings and a playground that invites various games and activities.

We offer break activities every morning break with the goal of providing students with greater variation in games/activities that promote cooperation, movement, and cohesion. Our latest addition during the morning break is the Toy Bank, which offers play materials for lending. In the bank, students from grade 3 take turns being responsible for the play materials. This gives students increased opportunities for participation, influence, and responsibility.

About 400 students attend the school in grades F-3. There is a high level of competence among the educators, which provides conditions for good quality. We strive to take advantage of children's play and creativity. The school is located in a residential area in Landvetter with nature right at our doorstep. It is five hundred meters to our own school forest and the Landehof exercise trails, which are frequently used. Parking spaces are available near the school, but it is also close to public transport.

We are looking for someone who is positive and proactive and who can actively contribute to our school development work, to a good climate, and to developing collaboration. You need to have an inclusive approach and meet each student based on their conditions and needs. In your work, you will also mentor other adults, so you need to be a team player who wants, can, and dares to lead colleagues.

Requirements for the Position

• Must be a licensed teacher in after-school care
• Must be driven with a high level of engagement that benefits and positively develops the operation
• Must be confident in your leadership, responsive, and have good collaboration skills with students, guardians, colleagues, and management
• Must be responsible, structured, and quality-conscious
• Must have the ability to plan and organize activities and create a safe and stimulating learning environment
• Must be task-oriented and work goal-oriented
• Must have the ability to build positive and supportive relationships with students
• Must use digital tools as a natural part of the educational work
• Must have a genuine interest in working with children and contributing to their development and well-being

If you are new to the profession, you will be offered an experienced mentor during your first year! During the recruitment process, we will place great emphasis on personal suitability. A police record extract must be presented to obtain employment.
