Vallentuna Municipality has the courage to lead. Our ambition is to be at the forefront when it comes to innovative solutions, smart working methods, and an efficient organization. As an employee, you play an important role in the development work. The municipality as a workplace is characterized by a consensus between politics and operations, where the common interest and responsibility for the best of Vallentuna shines through. Reception, accessibility, and customer focus are important in our work for good results and increased quality.
Engagement, collaboration, and equal value for all should permeate our organization. You who are applying should of course share our common values.
About the organization:
The Social Administration consists of about 500 employees with the task of working preventively and supportively within both social services and care. Vallentuna Municipality's home care consists of secure workgroups with helpful colleagues and supportive managers. Within the Social Administration, you as an employee have great freedom and trust to perform your work and develop your role. We are both men and women working in Vallentuna Municipality's home care.
We need employees who work with their hearts for our customers, and together we can only get better. Working to help people is both rewarding and stimulating. We invest in a good work environment and have regular meetings where we work with health factors and skills development.
We are located at Fabriksvägen 1C, an 8-minute walk from Roslagsbanan in Vallentuna Center, or you can reach us by bus (610 and 524, Fabriksvägen), which stops right outside.
Right now, we need to complement our teams working in different areas to ensure continuity for our customers. We need more colleagues for positions with varying scopes. We are looking for employees who can work every other weekend and a mix of evenings and days on weekdays.

Job Responsibilities:
Working in home care means that no day is the same. Each day begins with a morning gathering with colleagues where the day is reviewed. Within Vallentuna Municipality's home care, there are two groups: "Centralort" and "Landsbygd". In the "Centralort" group, there is the opportunity to walk or bike to our customers. In the "Landsbygd" group, everyone drives. After the morning gathering, all employees split up to visit the morning home care customers. The visits can include everything from helping the customer with breakfast, showering, dressing, or walking to helping the customer with laundry, shopping, or cleaning. After the lunch break, it's time for several more customer visits before the workday ends and the evening staff takes over. For those working evenings and nights, visits to home care customers often involve dinner delivery, helping to bed, and supervision. You will be a fixed care contact for a number of home care customers and write implementation plans and continuously document in the system Treserva.
As an employee, you will receive a good introduction to both practical and theoretical work. You will do your introduction together with a regular staff member out with our customers, and you will also go through our routines together. If you enjoy working with people and want a rewarding job, this is something for you. Working in home care is flexible and meaningful. You work both independently as well as in a group. The shifts are day and evening shifts between 07:00 - 22:00.
Qualifications:
