VO Care represented Södertälje Hospital in the Magnet4Europe study, and we are now continuing to work with the magnet model to enable a good working environment and nursing development.

With us, nursing assistants and nurses work together, and the operational area is also led by nurses. We provide care in several different areas such as internal medicine, surgery, orthopedics, geriatrics, and palliative care. We are a total of 360 people distributed across nine care departments and ASIH, currently having 173 care places.

Do you want to work with something that really makes a difference – every day? In our palliative department, we meet people in the most vulnerable stage of life, and we are now looking for a nurse who wants to help create safety, dignity, and quality of life for our patients and their loved ones.

The palliative department offers a challenging job with fantastic and supportive colleagues with many years of professional experience. Here, patients with complex symptoms in the final stages of life are cared for. You will work with pain pumps, drains, and intravenous access.

We are an unpretentious and cheerful team where nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, and paramedics work together with the patient in focus to provide the best care for our patients.

We offer our employees supervision every three weeks and reflection time every Friday to support them in their work.

Your personal qualities:

We are looking for someone who is positive, curious, and eager to learn new things and develop in their profession. We seek someone who is flexible and can easily adapt to changing situations and prioritize tasks. You are proactive and have a good ability to see what needs to be done. Your creativity helps you find solutions even in complex care situations.

You have a strong empathetic ability and meet patients, relatives, and colleagues with sensitivity and care. We also see that you have a genuine interest in developing care, always with the patient in focus.

Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

Your qualifications:

Requirements:
-Licensed nurse with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare.
-Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing.

Meritorious:
-Experience in palliative care.

Employment form:

Permanent employment. Full-time/part-time. 3-shift.

As a nurse within a 24/7 operation, a working time agreement applies with the possibility of a retention bonus (in time) and reduced weekly working hours for night work. If you work concentrated weekends and more scheduled nights, you also have the opportunity for additional earned time that can be taken out as time off, money, or pension contributions.
