About the position

At the orthopedic and trauma clinic, highly specialized care is provided within five patient flows: acute orthopedics and traumatology, acute surgery, spinal diseases, arthroplasty and extremity deformities, as well as musculoskeletal tumors.

In the role of nurse, you will work in a team together with nursing assistants, doctors, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. You will meet patients with fractures, spinal diseases, skeletal deformities, surgical trauma, and multi-trauma. The work at the clinic is varied and includes, among other things, assisting at doctor appointments, independent wound care, admissions, and telephone advice via Tele Q and Always Open.

The working hours at the clinic are Monday to Friday, daytime.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Registered nurse
• At least three years of professional experience in emergency care
• Good computer skills
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Experience in outpatient work
• Experience in admissions
• Experience in telephone advice
• Experience in wound treatments
• Knowledge in orthopedics and surgery
• Experience in booking TakeCare and handling cases via Always Open
