Work extra in care and nursing homes

We are looking for you who have previous experience or are studying in care and nursing, and who can provide support to the operations as needed. There is also an opportunity for temporary positions during the summer.

Haninge Municipality has five care and nursing homes in municipal management as well as three home care units.

Your qualifications and tasks:

As a person, you have a commitment to working with the elderly and understand the importance of good collaboration. You have the ability to create and maintain good relationships with customers, relatives, and colleagues. To succeed in your work, you are responsible and self-driven and can adapt your working methods to the situation. You see opportunities rather than obstacles and have a positive attitude. You always keep the customer in focus!

All operations are based on our values: care, humility, and commitment. We want this to characterize every meeting that occurs between us and the individual. You are a person who values and respects everyone's right to privacy, self-determination, and participation.

Your tasks include personal care such as toilet visits and showers, transfers, cleaning, laundry, shopping, meals, and walks.

If you wish to work in home care, a driver's license is an advantage but not a requirement.

Documentation and reporting are also part of the job, so it is important that you are computer literate and have a good command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
