The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP) Danderyd is an outpatient unit that provides modern child and adolescent psychiatric care at a specialist level.

We are responsible for assessing and treating psychiatric disorders and conditions in children and adolescents aged 0-17 living in Danderyd, Lidingö, Vallentuna, and Vaxholm municipalities. BUP Danderyd needs reinforcement with a temporary psychologist while one of our colleagues is on parental leave. With us, you will be in an environment with broad and specialized competence.

Together with colleagues with different competencies, you contribute to safe care and high-quality services. The clinic employs around thirty qualified staff members; doctors, nurses, psychologists, social workers, and administrators. The staff at the clinic works independently while maintaining close collaboration to offer comprehensive competence to our patients. The work is varied and requires flexibility, personal responsibility, and the ability to work interprofessionally. We work with both person-centered and family-centered care, where the perspectives of both patients and relatives are central to our work. We offer individual treatment, group therapy, parent lectures, and interventions through our support and treatment platform. Based on personal interest, you have the opportunity to help develop methods that benefit the clinic. We are subspecialized in Komet and small children aged 0-5:11 years.

We are a stable, well-organized clinic with a good working atmosphere, high engagement, and a sense of community. Our clinic is located at Vendevägen 90 in Danderyd, with good transport links via Roslagsbanan or bus to Mörby station, or alternatively, the subway to Mörby centrum or Danderyd hospital.

Job Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities are to conduct child psychiatric assessments, investigations, and treatments for children, adolescents, and their relatives. Collaboration with colleagues at the clinic and other healthcare providers working with the target group is a natural part of the job.

Qualifications

Applicants should be licensed psychologists with CBT training and experience working with children and adolescents. Previous experience in child and adolescent psychiatry is an advantage.

The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in Stockholm (BUP) offers specialized psychiatric care for children and adolescents under 18 years of age within the Stockholm region. We are part of the Stockholm County healthcare area, which is a provider within Region Stockholm. Together, we within BUP have over 1,200 employees who meet over 22,000 children, adolescents, and their families every year. The position will be filled provided it is not needed for internal relocation, according to applicable regulations.

  • background checks are applied before hiring decisions according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during hiring.
  • employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to applicable directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
  • in addition to Swedish professional licensing, good knowledge of the Swedish language at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
