We now welcome a new dietitian to our team with a position focused on surgery in the upper abdomen such as pancreas, liver, and gallbladder as well as infectious medicine.

With us, you will work in our interdisciplinary teams both on the ward and in the outpatient clinic, with the support you need from experienced and competent dietitian colleagues in the unit. You will also be offered regular further education both within and outside Region Skåne to develop your skills.

We are Skåne University Hospital's (Sus) largest dietetic unit with 25 employees who have nutritional competence, primarily dietitians but also nurses and secretaries. Together, we have a broad collective nutritional competence and always strive to have fun at work and good cohesion within the team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In your role as a dietitian, you will have a varied and developing job with all the tools of nutritional treatment, from individualized dietary advice to enteral and parenteral nutrition. The work includes both treatment of inpatients and treatment in outpatient care where you meet patients physically, digitally, and via phone. You will also meet patients and relatives and collaborate interdisciplinary with several professional categories within care and nursing.

You will work on the development of nutritional management in the ward together with knowledgeable and established nutrition responsible healthcare staff and be an important knowledge support to other healthcare staff.

The advertisement refers to a fixed-term employment until 2026-08-31 with immediate start according to agreement. There are good opportunities for extension.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who enjoys both teamwork and working independently and making their own decisions. You see working variably with both simpler and more complex problem-solving as a challenge, you are willing to take initiative and have good collaboration skills. Since we believe it is important to find the right employees for our team, we will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

To be eligible for the position, you must be a licensed dietitian with the authority to work within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are required.
