The Evening and Weekend Clinic Skåne (KHM Skåne) is a further development of our current ten local evening and weekend clinics in Region Skåne. By establishing KHM Skåne, we aim to improve and simplify accessibility for the citizens of Skåne who need urgent, unplanned primary care in the evenings and on weekends. For this reason, we are centralizing phone triage/advice and booking of visits to our evening and weekend clinics.

The mission of KHM Skåne consists of two parts, and as a nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in both areas. One part consists of centralized triage and advice via phone, as well as booking visits if you, as a nurse, assess that the patient needs clinical evaluation. The other part consists of KHM Skåne being our internal resource team where you, as a nurse, work clinically at our local evening and weekend clinics in Region Skåne.

Our central phone unit is located in newly renovated and fresh premises at Skåne University Hospital (Sus) in Malmö, right by Södervärn. Since KHM Skåne's mission is to provide regional service, we see that there is an opportunity for you as an employee to have a placement linked to one of our local evening and weekend clinics, such as Malmö, Lund, Kristianstad, Helsingborg, and Ystad. This is flexible depending on what suits you and the operation best.

KHM Skåne plans to be operational in April 2026. The establishment of the business has already started and is happening gradually. This gives you the opportunity to be involved from the start, participate, influence, and develop our working methods and routines together with us. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In your work at our central phone unit, you will be involved in advice and triage via phone as well as booking visits. In the clinical work at our local evening and weekend clinics, you will perform nursing tasks that are commonly found in urgent primary care, such as reception work, triage, and advice.

We offer an exciting, fast-paced, and varied job where you can be part of starting and influencing a new operation while further developing in your role as a nurse.

When you start with us, you will receive an introduction to the various parts of the work that we try to adapt based on your experiences so that you can integrate into the operation in a safe and good way.

The working hours are scheduled for evenings and weekends. If you are interested in a combined position, we see the possibility of offering, for example, within 1177 or another suitable operation within the region that has needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

You enjoy taking responsibility and making your own decisions based on your experience and given tools while valuing and managing teamwork well. You need to have an empathetic and listening approach where the principle of equal treatment is fundamental to you. Additionally, you have a high readiness for action, a very good attitude, and can adjust your planning based on the situation. In the team, you create a good working climate through your engagement, curiosity, and positive attitude.

We welcome you who are a licensed nurse with permission to work in Swedish healthcare and have several years of experience in emergency care or primary care. It is an advantage if you have specialist training, are a trained district nurse, or have previous experience in phone advice and triage. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are required.

The administration of Close Care and Health has existed since January 1, 2025. The administration is responsible for grant-funded care activities within close care. This includes mobile teams and specialized palliative care, outpatient care within close care, emergency care within close care, 1177 by phone, and some region-wide functions. In addition, the administration is responsible for the development and follow-up of the transition to close care in Region Skåne. The number of employees is expected to be around 1,000.
