Make a difference. Every day.

The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (Bup) area of Kristianstad is part of Bup Skåne and includes the units in Hässleholm, Kristianstad, and Ystad. The area has about 100 employees working for and with children and adolescents up to 18 years old with moderate to severe mental health issues and their families. There are outpatient clinics in Hässleholm, Kristianstad, and Ystad. All clinics perform assessments, investigations, and treatments for children and adolescents. The work includes both family and network involvement. Bup Skåne's acute operations are located in Malmö, as are the specialist clinics, and for several years have been an accredited university healthcare unit, which among other things means that we have a close collaboration with the medical faculty at Lund University regarding both research and education. The academic work permeates our operations. We value interest and experience from research and education when filling all our positions.

Bup Kristianstad consists of a reception unit where outpatient care is the foundation of the clinical operations, and here there is also an intermediate care unit, an eating disorder team, and an infant and toddler unit. We are a team of about 35 employees consisting of nurses, psychologists, psychotherapists, health and medical care social workers, social workers, child psychiatrists, resident doctors, medical secretaries, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, PTP psychologists, and a unit manager. During the semesters, we often also have social work candidates, psychology candidates, and nursing students with us. We have a close collaboration with the habilitation regarding shared patients. We work based on standardized care processes.

The work climate with us is characterized by positivity and support, and our team possesses a broad knowledge and solid experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The job responsibilities include, among other things, investigation and treatment, receiving and initiating interventions during new visits, psychoeducation, and network work in collaboration with schools and the local community. We are an integrated reception where you as a psychologist will work variably with neuropsychiatric assessments and psychological treatment.

The treatment forms vary to suit children and young people of different ages and to best match the families' issues. The work is partially carried out through the use of digital treatment interventions. In your daily work, you collect and assess information, make decisions, and plan the patient's care to then implement it. This mainly occurs in investigative and therapeutic conversations with both patients and guardians. Treatments are provided both individually and in group form. Our operations are characterized by a broad child and adolescent psychiatric competence with a strong focus on developmental issues and interdisciplinary collaboration among the various professional groups. We have an ambition to develop care and offer you good opportunities for professional development and continuous further education based on interest and in line with patients' needs and the goals of the organization. Based on your previous experience, we will set up a plan for your introduction with supervision and a mentor.

The working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 16:30 with flexible working hours agreement.
