Café Assistant 75% – Tegnérs Bageri Tullinge

Tegnérs Bageri is a craft bakery with a café where the interaction with our guests is just as important as what we serve. Every day we offer freshly baked bread, pastries, sandwiches, simple lunches, and coffee – and we always strive for our guests to feel seen, welcomed, and satisfied when they leave us.

We are now looking for a café assistant at 75% for our café. This is a role for you who genuinely enjoys service, thrives on meeting people, and likes to give that little extra – even when the pace is high.

About the role

You have a central role in the café and are often the first contact the guest has with us. Therefore, a sense of service, presence, and a friendly approach are more important than anything else. At the same time, the job is practical and varied – you work closely with colleagues, keep order in the serving area, and ensure that the café runs smoothly throughout the day. We help each other and always put the guest first.

Responsibilities

Provide guests with a warm, personal, and professional welcome

Work at the cash register and with serving, always focusing on service

Make coffee and espresso with quality and pride

Keep the café, serving area, and dishes clean, tidy, and inviting

Restock and front products so that the display always looks appealing

Assist with simple preparations in the cold kitchen

Follow routines for hygiene, safety, and food handling

Contribute to good collaboration and a positive atmosphere in the team

Working hours

Position at approximately 75%

Rotating schedule with both opening and closing shifts, mainly closing

(approx. 11:00–19:30)

Loves service and enjoys meeting people every day

Always puts the guest in focus and wants to create a great experience

Has experience from café, restaurant, or other service jobs

Is confident at the cash register and with the espresso machine

Has a positive attitude and contributes to a good atmosphere at work

Takes responsibility, works carefully, and can handle a high pace

Sees what needs to be done and helps where needed

Speaks Swedish and English
