Assistant Nurse at the Medical Center of Southern Lapland

Lycksele Hospital is a small and well-equipped acute hospital, and we are now looking for you as an Assistant Nurse for the Medical Center of Southern Lapland and the Medical Reception. By working at a smaller hospital, you will be part of a strong community, competence, and drive. With us, you will develop, become independent, and collaborate with skilled colleagues.
At the Medical Reception, we conduct outpatient activities in the areas of heart diseases, gastroenterology, hematology, lung diseases, anticoagulation, and physical lab. We also have a developed team activity in cardiac care, diabetes, and COPD and a diagnostic center.
In the outpatient activities, nurses, assistant nurses, secretaries, social workers, dietitians, and foot care specialists work together.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As an assistant nurse with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that makes people feel secure.
You will independently perform tasks such as resting ECG, long-term ECG, 24-hour blood pressure monitoring, sample collections, blood draws, administrative tasks, bookings, and preparing and assisting with certain examinations.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a trained assistant nurse. Experience working as an assistant nurse is required.
As a person, you are responsible, flexible, and engaged. You have the ability to work independently while also being able to collaborate easily with others. You see opportunities and are solution-focused. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
As of July 1, 2023, assistant nurse is a protected professional title. This means that you need a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title assistant nurse within healthcare and social services. You apply for a certificate of protected professional title for assistant nurses from the National Board of Health and Welfare. If you have already received this certificate, we ask that you attach it to your application.
