Do you want to make a difference in people's everyday lives? We are now looking for two dedicated nursing assistants for daytime work in the resource area of Södra Bulltofta.

Södra Bulltofta belongs to the Bulltofta unit within regular housing. The resource group works together with home care groups throughout the resource area and has close collaboration with colleagues in home healthcare and rehabilitation to provide good care to our clients.

Job Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant, you will help and support the client with care interventions based on individual needs and wishes. You will assist the client with personal care, medical interventions performed under the delegation of a licensed nurse, cooking, cleaning, shopping, and laundry.

In addition to the practical work, you will also need to document events related to the client and maintain contact with the client's relatives. The job includes providing advice and information, as well as motivating and encouraging the client to do as much as possible on their own. In your daily work, you will also collaborate with home healthcare, rehabilitation, case managers, and other home care groups.

The positions are for daytime work and every other weekend.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Nursing assistant education with approved grades
  • Proof of protected professional title (nursing assistant) from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from the employer confirming that you had a permanent position as a nursing assistant on 1/7 2023
  • Ability to cycle
  • Good Swedish skills in speaking and writing
  • Experience using a computer as a tool and aid, and a willingness and ability to quickly learn new programs and systems

It is considered an advantage if you have:

  • Experience working with individuals with permanent disabilities
  • Experience with dementia and/or psychiatry
  • Knowledge of LifeCare, Flexite, and Senior Alert
  • Driver's license

We move around by bicycle, so it is important that you can and want to cycle in all weather conditions.
