Adult Psychiatric Clinic 1 in Lund is a specialist psychiatric clinic with about 30 employees striving to be at the forefront. We work with team-based care and interdisciplinary collaboration to best meet the needs of our patients. Our mission is to assess, evaluate, and treat patients with various psychiatric conditions. We work with a fixed care contact, individual care plans, and collaborate with other stakeholders. We also offer a popular introductory training for new patients that we take turns leading.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now welcoming a driven nurse for a temporary position in our competent and friendly team!

With us, you will work with psychiatric care characterized by collaboration, openness, and quality. In your role, you will work closely with patients, which includes initiating and monitoring medication treatments, psychiatric well-being, and somatic checks. Your work will be in close dialogue and collaboration with other team members such as doctors, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. Additionally, you will work with the clinic's telephone counseling and support measures, including support conversations. In the long run, you will be involved in our introductory training for new patients, which is conducted together with colleagues.

As a new employee, you will receive an individually tailored introduction based on your previous experiences. We assume that everyone has an individual learning process and see it as a given that you will receive support from colleagues to become confident in your new role.

The position is a temporary contract for 1 year.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a forward-thinking attitude and a strong interest in development, learning, and of course, psychiatry! Furthermore, your engagement and positive attitude contribute to a good work climate where we all help each other and collaborate to achieve the best care quality for our patients. Since the work is explicitly team-based, we place great importance on personal suitability.

Regarding the formal requirements for the position, we welcome you who are a licensed nurse with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Additionally, you must have language skills in Swedish at least equivalent to level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale. We consider it a strong merit if you have a specialist education in psychiatry. It is also advantageous if you have previous experience working in adult psychiatry and/or are multilingual, but this is not a requirement.
