Hässleholm Hospital offers a dynamic work environment with two internal medicine departments and a rehabilitation department, where patient intake primarily occurs from our own emergency department. In addition to these departments, we have an extensive elective orthopedic operation and a large outpatient service with various specialties. Our emergency department is open for adult patients in need of acute care within medical specialties. The evening and weekend clinics are open for patients who cannot wait until their regular healthcare center opens, currently only on weekends and public holidays.

The management of Close Care and Health is under construction and has been operational since January 1, 2025. The area of emergency care close to home within the management consists of the emergency departments in Skåne that do not operate around the clock, as well as all evening and weekend clinics in Skåne. Here we lead with heart, courage, respect, and curiosity.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of nursing assistant, you will work with triage, monitoring, and treatment of acutely ill patients, for example during priority 1 alarms. Your tasks include nursing care, sampling, and dressing changes. Together we create a dynamic and stimulating work environment where flexibility and good collaboration are crucial.

There is also the opportunity to broaden your skills over time by working in the evening and weekend clinic that belongs to our own operation, as well as through collaboration with the hospital's medical emergency department. This is based on a tailored introduction aimed at creating security in the role and a good work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a trained nursing assistant and meet the National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements for a protected professional title, regardless of whether you studied under previous or current program structures. If you studied under previous program structures, a specialization in emergency care/health care is an advantage. Good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, are also required. Additionally, you have work experience in inpatient care. Experience in emergency care is an advantage.

This includes mobile teams and specialized palliative care, outpatient services within close care, emergency care within close care, 1177 by phone, and certain region-wide functions. Additionally, the management is responsible for the development and follow-up of the transition to close care in Region Skåne. The number of employees is expected to be around 1,000.
