At Forenede Care, we are looking for you as a nursing assistant/care assistant who wants to work as a part-time employee at Sweden's first dementia village, Månstorps Ängar.

In the role of nursing assistant/care assistant with us at Forenede Care, you will provide good care, service, and support to our residents. Forenede Care operates Månstorps Ängar on behalf of Vellinge municipality. The care and support housing has a total of 56 resident places, distributed across 4 units. The accommodation offers apartments for elderly people with cognitive impairment.

At Månstorps Ängar, we have large gardens for easily accessible outdoor activities and good space for communal activities or socializing. We have a retro shop, salon, sensory room, etc.

Månstorps Ängar is strategically located with a short distance to both the train station and bus stop. For those who drive, there are free parking opportunities just across the street.

In the role of nursing assistant, you will work with care and support based on the customer's wishes, in accordance with assistance decisions, and always with a strong focus on quality. You will assist with personal hygiene, meal preparation and serving, responding to alarms, and being there for social interaction. Social interaction is an important part of our work to ensure that all our residents can live life to the fullest. This can involve everything from chatting, playing games, going on outings, cycling, or finding fun activities to do together. You will also work with delegated tasks from licensed staff in the form of medication administration and training.

Job Description

We are currently looking for several colleagues for part-time positions. Start as soon as possible.

To be considered for the position, you need:

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form

We also see it as an advantage if you have previous experience in elderly care and dementia care.

To thrive in the role, you are engaged and care about your fellow human beings while being good at creating good relationships and being service-oriented. We work in teams as well as independently, so it is important that you are comfortable in that environment.

Before we offer employment, you will need to provide an unopened extract from the police record. We also require a valid Swedish work permit, such as a passport or approved work permit from the Migration Agency.
