Are you looking for a varied and developing job? Then you have come to the right place! We at the Adult Rehabilitation Clinic in Helsingborg are now looking for a physiotherapist who wants to be part of our wonderful and dedicated team.

The Adult Rehabilitation Clinic caters to individuals over 18 years old who have permanent disabilities such as intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, or movement impairments. The operations are conducted according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL) and the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS). We also reach out to the patients' relatives as well as staff and assistants. The operations are carried out in a multidisciplinary teamwork together with psychologists, speech therapists, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists.

The work of rehabilitation is based on the values of the equal worth of all people, the inherent strength of all individuals, the right to integrity and self-determination, and the right of all children to express their opinions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a physiotherapist with us, you will have a broad and varied role that involves helping each individual patient achieve the best possible conditions for a well-functioning everyday life. Interventions are provided through analysis and assessment of functional and activity capacity, treatment through functional and activity training, as well as prescribing, testing, and following up on aids and/or special adaptations. Planning is done together with the patient and their network. You will participate in various training and group interventions and provide guidance on motor training in daily activities and other physical activities. Interventions are provided individually and/or in groups.

You will meet patients in our facilities, through digital contacts, but also at home or in the workplace when needed. A significant part of the work is to collaborate with other actors such as various municipal operations, assistive technology services, orthopedic technology services, workplaces, and more. QUALIFICATIONS

To thrive in this role, you need to have good collaboration skills as interventions are planned based on the patient's needs and together with other team members. As a person, you are flexible, creative, and development-oriented. In your work, you are structured and self-sufficient and are happy to take your own initiatives. You also enjoy collaborating with other units, authorities, and actors. Personal suitability is of great importance.

Regarding formal requirements, we are looking for a licensed physiotherapist with the authority to work within Swedish healthcare. Additionally, you have language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale and a valid B driver's license. Experience in similar work with individuals with disabilities and/or rehabilitation work is meritorious for the position. Furthermore, you are accustomed to working with various IT systems and have an openness to digital healthcare contacts.
