Our operations are growing, and we need to strengthen our healthcare center with an additional specialist in general medicine. We have approximately 13,800 listed patients and offer a wide range of services including clinics for diabetes, asthma/COPD, hypertension, atrial fibrillation, elderly care, district nurse clinics, midwife clinics, and child health centers. Our team-based approach strengthens both patient satisfaction and staff cohesion. We have 10 specialist doctors, training doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, dietitians, social workers, psychologists, rehabilitation coordinators, medical secretaries, and occupational and physiotherapists working in our rehabilitation department. We also conduct home visits and are responsible for care in two nursing homes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In your role as a specialist doctor in general medicine, you will be responsible for the care of your listed patients and contribute to creating safe, accessible, and continuous care. Each doctor also has their own areas of responsibility, such as child health care, rounds at nursing homes, or supervising students, which provides variety and the opportunity to develop in what you are passionate about.

As a specialist doctor, you will work with both acute and planned patient visits and serve as a consultant for training doctors and nurses. You will participate in rounds and contribute to assessment and triage.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed physician with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare and who has specialist competence in general medicine. Additionally, language skills in Swedish equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale are required.

To thrive and succeed in the role, we believe you are a responsible and flexible person with a genuine interest in general medicine and primary care. You have an easy time finding solutions, even in a day-to-day environment that can sometimes be both varied and challenging.

You have good collaboration and communication skills and enjoy working both independently and together with colleagues from different professions. For you, the patient is always the focus, and you strive to provide care and service of the highest quality.
