Your Role with Us

As a head chef at Önnegården, you will lead and develop the daily work, and together with your seven colleagues in the kitchen, you will produce meals for customers in care, preschool, and school. You will work with qualified cooking. The job also includes safely preparing and handling special diets as well as menus for our guests with specific dietary needs. Furthermore, traditional kitchen tasks such as self-control, ordering, invoice management, dishwashing, cleaning, and more are included. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the staff schedule works for the operation. Customer contacts are also part of the role.

You will have daily contact with educators and guests and are expected to be a good ambassador for the joint service Meal Services.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for someone who is goal- and result-oriented and structured. You have an easy time building relationships and collaborations but also enjoy working independently.

You have passed grades from the restaurant and food program with a focus on kitchen or another education that the employer deems equivalent. We want you to have documented experience in leadership, and leadership training is an advantage. You have experience working in production kitchens and knowledge of special diet cooking. Furthermore, you have experience in ordering and invoice management as well as good knowledge of food hygiene and self-control. Of course, you have good computer skills and handle the Office package. Knowledge and experience of working in a dietary data program is also an advantage. Since communication and documentation are part of the job, it is required that you can express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written. You, who are applying to us, have a B driver's license.

Since the meal services operate within schools and preschools, you will need to present a criminal record check according to the provisions in Chapter 2, Sections 31-33 of the Education Act if you are offered employment.
