The Lomma catering unit is organized under the administration for education, food, culture, and leisure, serving daily meals to preschools, schools, and elderly care, including our open restaurant Havsblick. Our ambition is for meals to be prepared as close to the guest as possible, using quality ingredients and served with knowledge and joy of food. Our meals should be good, safe, nutritious, sustainable, and part of a community.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The usual tasks in the kitchen include preparing lunch, dinner, desserts, and dishwashing. The kitchen produces approximately 200 lunches and 140 dinners daily. Additionally, we are responsible for the restaurant Havsblick, where the position also involves placement and work in the restaurant, serving between 40 and 90 lunches per day, primarily to elderly pensioners.

We have a kitchen located at Lervik Preschool.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are now looking for a chef with experience in serving or restaurants, who enjoys working with the elderly. Great emphasis is placed on your personal qualities; we are looking for someone who is positive, creative, service-oriented, and energetic. You need to have a good ability to collaborate, be attentive, and be able to plan and structure your work well. It is a requirement that you understand and can express yourself in Swedish.

Weekend work every third weekend, including major holidays.
