We are looking for part-time and summer substitutes for our production kitchens where we prepare delicious and nutritious meals for the elderly care homes in Helsingborg every day. Do you want to contribute to a good everyday life for our guests? Then you are the one we are looking for!

About the Workplace

MatOmsorg, the meal organization of the care and social services administration, delivers food and meals to our operations 365 days a year. Dinner consists of a main course and dessert, and supper is a lighter meal. Our four production kitchens prepare nearly 2500 servings a day.

Job Responsibilities

You will be part of a team consisting of chefs, meal assistants, dietary assistants, and kitchen managers. The meals prepared are served both in-house but primarily delivered to elderly care homes, short-term units, meeting points, and LSS units.

Your job responsibilities include preparation, cooking, self-checks, orders, handling deliveries, cleaning, and maintenance, as well as other tasks that occur in the production kitchen.

We place great emphasis on contributing to the quality of life for the customer, and part of your job will involve sharing your thoughts on how meals can be further developed to create pleasant experiences.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained chef or has relevant experience in kitchen work. We prefer that you have experience working in a large kitchen. Furthermore, it is important that you have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have experience working with adapted meals (special diets), the dietary software Mashie or similar systems, or with meals in elderly care. It is also advantageous if you have a B driver's license.
