About Malmö Creative Campus:

The campus will be located at Tuborgsgatan 2 in central Malmö, close to public transport, and will accommodate up to 1000 students. Designgymnasiet Malmö, LBS Kreativa Gymnasiet Malmö, and Rytmus Musikgymnasium Malmö will unite in a common and creative campus. Here, there will not only be music studios and design ateliers, but also a shared cafeteria, café, indoor and outdoor stages for concerts and fashion shows, a staffed library, and much more.

We are now looking for ambitious and experienced staff for our newly built kitchen who want to offer an extraordinary lunch experience to our students.

Who are we looking for?

A skilled chef who, together with the head chef, creates the best conditions for serving a world-class school meal! You appreciate collaboration both within the kitchen team as well as with the schools' management, teachers, and other staff, all for the benefit of the students.

You have broad competence in various cooking methods and circular cooking. We follow AcadeMedia's guidelines for school meals, which means a green focus where the meal is a valued and anticipated break during the school day. You easily create sustainable and clear routines that facilitate daily work. Self-monitoring and waste management are important to you.

Job Responsibilities

You work in daily production and are a person who thrives and flourishes in a team. You and your colleagues inspire each other, and together with the team, you create a workplace where you thrive and grow together. You are responsible for ensuring the quality of offerings and service together with the head chef and leading parts of the kitchen team. You are comfortable in a leadership role and have solid knowledge of waste management, volume production, and resource efficiency.

In addition to the food produced for the students on campus, catering is sent to nearby high schools. The production volume is about 2000 portions per day, half of which is sent to other units.

Qualifications

You are a trained chef with at least 4 years of experience from restaurants and/or large kitchens.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is responsible and punctual
• Has an easy time collaborating
• Thrives in a leadership role and grows as both you and your kitchen team develop
• Has an interest in green cooking and waste management
• Is taste-sensitive and communicative
• Is unpretentious and driven
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Can handle the common functions in the Office suite
• Is confident regarding production volumes

You are flexible in your tasks and can just as easily stir in the pots as you can be seen in the cafeteria.

To succeed, you are well-organized, accommodating, and team-oriented. You have a great passion for the profession and a burning interest in contributing to a world-class school restaurant!

Other

The position is a permanent employment in the form of a 87% position. This means that you have a fixed monthly salary year-round, work full-time but are off during school breaks. We apply a six-month probationary period. Start date is according to agreement in early August 2026.
