Working as a station chef

The tasks for this role are varied, but you will mainly be responsible for the production of our Afghan dishes such as manto, bolani and pakora. Our food and drink is seasonal so you will also have the opportunity to continuously develop and plan new recipes and menus.

In addition, you will

• take care of daily ingredient preparations
• work in a close-knit team and support colleagues
• keep the restaurant and kitchen clean and tidy

Who are we looking for?

For the role of station chef, we are primarily looking for someone who is a meticulous and cooperative person who is motivated by learning new things. In order to get into the role as quickly as possible, it is a big plus if you have relevant experience in Afghan or Asian street food. In addition, it is a big advantage if you have additional knowledge or experience within special diets and catering.

We would like you to

• be at least 20 years old
• have broad knowledge and experience in Afghan cuisine
• be used to baking and working with different types of dough
• fill and shape dumplings in larger quantities

In addition, it is an advantage if you

• have basic restaurant training
• are used to working irregular hours, evenings and weekends
• have basic computer skills
