Developer in eHealth
Do you want to strengthen the innovation capacity and business development within eHealth? Are you passionate about collaboration between the public sector, industry, and academia, and about turning innovation into sustainable businesses and growth? Then this could be the role for you!
eHealth Arena is a dynamic collaboration arena where healthcare, industry, and academia work together to drive development in eHealth.
We are now looking for an engaged developer with a focus on innovation and business development who wants to take overall responsibility for the arena's work towards the business community and contribute to the development of new services, networks, and forms of collaboration. In this role, you will be a central part of eHealth Arena's work within both the Health Data Sweden project and the eHealth Collaboration, and you will play an important role in the development of eHealth Arena's activities. You will:
- Develop, coordinate, and drive eHealth Arena's business work and work to strengthen the conditions for e-health companies
- Be responsible for and further develop eHealth Arena's business network
- Develop new services and offerings to companies within eHealth based on identified needs
- Be an active participant and build and maintain relationships in the regional innovation support system and contribute to increased coordination and clarity for companies
- Work within the Health Data Sweden project, focusing on fundraising, financing issues, and connections to investors and financiers.
About You
We are looking for someone with an academic education or other education and experience that the employer deems equivalent. You have relevant experience working in healthcare and/or social services, combined with experience in innovation, business, or business development. You should thrive in a role where you work both strategically and operationally. You have a good understanding of how innovation, business development, and financing are interconnected, preferably with a connection to eHealth, and we would like you to have education and/or competence in eHealth.
You are used to working in collaboration between the public sector, industry, and other support systems and have the ability to navigate complex ecosystems. You are structured, driven, and relationship-building, with good communication skills in both Swedish and English. You easily see the big picture, identify opportunities, and turn ideas into concrete activities and offerings. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
As the position involves travel, a driver's license is required.
Your Future Workplace
You will be based at eHealth Arena's premises at Linnaeus University in Kalmar. eHealth Arena is an initiative in eHealth, driven by Region Kalmar County and is part of the regional development administration. It is a common arena for business, healthcare, academia, and the public. eHealth Arena works in collaboration to contribute to increased use of e-health services within health, care, and social services, as well as increased business growth.
In regional development, we work with sustainable growth and development issues in Kalmar County. We do this by initiating and coordinating efforts. We collaborate with actors inside and outside the county in various areas such as public health, business, environment and climate, infrastructure, urban planning, rural development, skills supply, culture, and library development. We create and participate in networks and also work with financing development efforts aimed at benefiting the county's development. We contribute to popular education through our four folk high schools; Gamleby, Kalmar, Vimmerby, and Öland, which are part of the regional development administration.
