Developer for eHealth Arena

eHealth Arena is a dynamic collaboration arena where Region Kalmar County, municipalities, industry, and academia work together to drive development in eHealth.

We are now looking for an engaged and structured developer focused on building, coordinating, and further developing test environments within healthcare and social services. In this role, you will work to develop and drive eHealth Arena's work with test environments in close collaboration with healthcare, industry, and academia. The role has a clear focus on process management for testing, where you translate needs from healthcare and social services into concrete, actionable testing and innovation activities. You will be a central part of eHealth Arena's work within both the Health Data Sweden project and the eHealth Collaboration while also playing an important role in the development of eHealth Arena's operations.

Your Responsibilities

  • Identify needs and development areas within healthcare and social services in dialogue with organizations
  • Lead and coordinate testing processes from idea to implementation and follow-up
  • Support involved actors such as healthcare, companies, and academia throughout the testing process
  • Contribute to method development, structure, and quality assurance of test environments
  • Ensure documentation, analysis, and learning from completed tests
  • Participate in the development of the showroom as part of eHealth Arena's test environment work.

About You

We are looking for someone with relevant academic education or other experience that the employer deems equivalent. You have current experience working in healthcare and/or social services and therefore have a good understanding of how operational needs can be translated into concrete testing and development efforts in collaboration with various actors. You have previously worked with development, testing, or innovation and thrive in a role where you lead and structure processes in complex contexts. We also prefer that you have education or competence in eHealth.

You are confident in leading and coordinating testing and innovation processes, have the ability to drive work from idea to implementation and follow-up. You are structured, analytical, and comfortable in digital environments, with an understanding of how technology, data, and operational needs meet.

As a person, you are collaborative, communicative, and solution-oriented. You find it easy to build relationships and can adapt your communication to different target groups. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

As the position involves travel, a driver's license is required.

Your Future Workplace

You will be based at eHealth Arena's facilities at Linnaeus University in Kalmar. eHealth Arena is an initiative in eHealth, driven by Region Kalmar County and is part of the regional development administration. It is a common arena for industry, healthcare, academia, and the public. eHealth Arena works in collaboration to contribute to increased use of e-health services within health, care, and social services as well as increased business growth.

Within regional development, we work with sustainable growth and development issues in Kalmar County. We do this by initiating and coordinating efforts. We collaborate with actors inside and outside the county in various areas such as public health, industry, environment and climate, infrastructure, urban planning, rural areas, skills supply, culture, and library development. We create and participate in networks and also work with financing development efforts aimed at benefiting the county's development. We contribute to popular education through our four folk high schools; Gamleby, Kalmar, Vimmerby, and Öland, which are part of the regional development administration.
