About Sunnanåker

Sunnanåker provides certain other round-the-clock care and caters to individuals aged 20-65 with mental disabilities. Some of our residents may have had issues with substance abuse. Sunnanåker is located in a calm, rural environment with a garden and the Hälsinge forest nearby. The workgroup is small, and it is important for us to maintain a good atmosphere within the team. As a support staff member, you will work scheduled hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and nights. Working as a substitute with us can be a way to explore a new career opportunity!

• You will have a group manager close by who works at Sunnanåker.

• Animals in care: We work with animals in our care, and we have goats on the farm. Residents also have the opportunity to have their own pets.

About the role In the role of support staff, you will base your work on the individual needs and wishes of the residents, providing support in daily life from a pedagogical perspective. Together with other staff members, you will work towards making each day meaningful and enriching. You will support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate residents to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks will also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans.

Your experience and knowledge We are looking for candidates with experience in psychiatry. You should have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. Experience working with the target group is an advantage. However, your CV is not the most important thing. If you have the right qualities, we will support you and provide opportunities for growth. To work with us, you need a B driver's license.

You have a positive outlook and a strong commitment to people, are responsible, and have personal maturity. You enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues, always prioritizing the best interests of our clients in everything you do.
