About the Position

Are you a social worker or a social work student looking to develop within public authority practice? We offer summer temporary positions with an individual introduction program and support from experienced colleagues.

This is a perfect opportunity to grow in your professional role.

As a summer temp, you will be an important part of the case management unit. You will meet citizens in need of care and assess their rights to services according to the Social Services Act.

The work involves:

• Investigating and assessing applications for care services
• Meeting citizens and conducting home visits (a B driver's license is required)
• Documenting and processing in our digital systems

You will receive a clear introduction and support to feel secure in your role.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a qualified social worker or a social work student with approved courses up to semester 4
• Has good computer skills, is structured, curious, and confident in meeting people
• Has the ability to meet citizens professionally and with empathy, especially seniors

It is advantageous if you have training in conversation methodology or gerontology. Experience in public authority practice is highly meritorious. We also prefer that you have worked in care and support or other people-oriented services. Language skills beyond Swedish and English are a plus.

About the Employment

We are looking for two temporary employees for the summer of 2026. The start date is June 1 or by agreement. When you apply for a job with us, we will ask you to show a copy of your criminal record from the Police. The extract we request is "Check your own information" and you need to request this extract yourself via a form found on the police website: polisen.se (https://polisen.se/tjanster-tillstand/belastningsregistret/?mtm_campaign=utdrag&mtm_kwd=post0623)

Once you have received your extract, you will present it to the hiring manager. Please note that the normal processing time at the police is about two weeks, so please order the extract when you apply for the position. The fastest way to get your extract is to use the e-service and order it online with BankId.

Please note that you need to present a passport or national ID card issued by the police at the interview.
