Asthma/COPD Nurse or District Nurse at Vallås Health Center

Job Responsibilities

If you are a trained asthma/COPD nurse, you will play a significant role as an important link for the patient.

You will partly run your own clinic and have a coordinating role for our asthma/COPD patients. You will work in a team with other professionals, be responsible for planning for the patients, calling for annual check-ups, and following up on treatments digitally or physically.

As a district nurse with us, you have the opportunity to work both in the district nurse and doctor’s clinics. In the district nurse clinic, you have your own practice where you independently assess and treat patients. The work in the doctor’s clinic consists of telephone advice, appointment booking, as well as planned and acute clinic work. You will also perform assessments and self-care advice for patients seeking planned and acute care.

If you have training in diabetes, there is an opportunity to have your own clinic for diabetes patients.

About the Workplace

Vallås Health Center has about 6,400 listed patients. We have a doctor’s clinic with specialist doctors in general medicine, a child health center, a district nurse clinic, and a vaccination clinic. The health center also has physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, and psychologists. A residence in the area is linked to the health center. We also have an elderly phone line where we welcome patients aged 75 and older.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with asthma/COPD training and/or a district nurse. If you have training in or experience working with diabetes, it is considered an advantage for the position.

You have a patient focus and are comfortable working both independently and in a team. You are meticulous in your work and have the ability to be flexible. It is also important that you contribute to a good atmosphere in the workgroup and have a good and professional approach towards your colleagues and those visiting the health center. We also see that you have a positive attitude towards development work. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Good knowledge of the Swedish language - in both speech and writing - is required, as well as good computer skills.
