About us

Department 5C is the heart of our cardiological care. Here we care for patients with heart and vascular diseases, arrhythmias, heart failure, as well as pre- and post-operative care for coronary and valve surgeries, pacemaker and ICD insertions. Four of our beds are heart intensive, and all have heart monitoring.

We work closely with the heart clinic and have a patient-centered service team that allows you to focus on what matters most – the patients. Our team spirit is strong, and leadership is shared to create a safe and supportive work environment.

Your development with us

We invest in professional development! You will receive regular training opportunities and the chance to take an advanced course in cardiology (7.5 credits). The goal? For all our nurses to feel secure even in the HIA section. Your development journey will be planned together with your manager.

• Licensed nurse (newly graduated or experienced – we provide a secure introduction).
