The position is a permanent employment at 100%, but the employment rate can be discussed according to your wishes.

The political leadership has tasked Bra Liv Health Centers with investing in selected health centers in the region, with the main purpose of achieving the goal of 1100 registered patients per full-time employed general practitioner (550 per full-time employed ST doctor). The hope is to achieve a number of synergy effects regarding, among other things, equitable care for residents, increased attraction for work in primary care, improved working environment, and a long-term reduced need for temporary doctors at selected health centers.

Vaggeryd Health Center is one of the selected health centers! All our doctors here will work according to the new listing goals in the future. We are therefore pleased to recruit a general practitioner under these new conditions. Furthermore, there will be good opportunities for professional development, good supervision, and scheduled collegial support during our medical meetings for you as a doctor with us. Vaggeryd Health Center will also start a collaboration with a so-called "Friend Health Center" in the region this year for mutual support and exchange of experiences. You will be allocated time in the position to manage your own patient consultations and for development work.

The Role of the District Doctor

As a district doctor at Bra Liv Vaggeryd Health Center, you are offered an independent position where you have the opportunity to influence your work. The work is varied with planned and acute patient visits, supervision of training doctors, collaboration with home care, and the opportunity to work in the municipality's special accommodations and/or child health care. Furthermore, we offer you a fun and exciting job close to the public with many contact points where your competence is utilized and stimulated. On-call duty and emergency service at the Urgent Care Center are included in the position.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Has proof of specialist competence and good knowledge of the Swedish language (at least C1 level).
• Has experience as a district doctor as you will help shape the development of our medical team and the operations in general. You will play a central role there.
• Has experience in supervising training doctors and other professionals at the health center.
• Can work independently and with various professional groups.
• Is engaged and responsible and understands the importance of good communication.
• Is flexible and wants to develop and improve the operations together with us.
• Is open to new knowledge, works according to the latest research, and acts as a knowledge resource for your colleagues.
• Can adapt your work, communication, and approach based on the patient and situation.
• Holds a B driver's license.
• Through good collaboration with management and colleagues wants to contribute to creating participation and a good work environment.
