The Role of Clinic Coordinator

As a clinic coordinator, you will be part of the clinic management team along with the clinic manager, and together you will lead the daily operations. You will support the clinic manager in planning, directing, developing, and managing staff and operations. Together, you will ensure a well-functioning communication flow between clinic management and employees and steer the clinic towards the set goals. One of the goals is to work together based on common guidelines in accordance with the concept of "one Folktandvården".

The role of clinic coordinator is varied, and you will work daily with both small and large tasks. You are the spider in the web at the clinic. This includes, among other things, schedule planning, financial and personnel issues. The position also involves driving the development of the operations. As a clinic coordinator, you need to be self-sufficient and enjoy a role where you are responsible for daily management and can independently make decisions within the scope of your position. However, you will not be alone – the position also requires you to have a close collaboration with the clinic manager.

Badhuset Folktandvård is part of a working group with five other collaborating dental clinics in the same geographical area. In the working group, there is a wealth of combined experience among the clinic coordinators. They will be important sounding boards and colleagues for you.

If you have a foundational profession in dentistry, you will also have the opportunity to work a small part of your time in your foundational profession, in addition to your work as a clinic coordinator.

The position of clinic coordinator is a permanent full-time employment starting as soon as possible, preferably in February or March 2026.

Your Profile

We are primarily looking for someone who is a trained dental nurse or a licensed dental hygienist with several years of work experience from Folktandvården in Region Jönköping County. Other backgrounds within dentistry are also welcome. We would like you to have leadership training. If you have experience in a role similar to that of a clinic coordinator, it is an advantage, but the most important thing for us is your personal qualities and your strong interest in leading people and processes. This is not a role for everyone – but the right person makes a big difference.

As a clinic coordinator, you are an employer representative who takes significant responsibility. Acting in accordance with decisions made, operational plans, and policies is a given for you. You have an interest in leadership, you are communicative, attentive, and have good collaboration skills. Together with the clinic management and the clinic's employees, you create engagement and participation.

You are flexible and thrive in an environment that can quickly change. You see what needs to be done and can independently take initiatives and make decisions. You see the big picture, and in situations with various forms of high pressure, you remain calm, controlled, and focused on the right things. You have integrity and the ability to stand up for what is right and maintain your employer role even in pressured situations. Furthermore, you are structured and plan your work effectively. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

For the position, good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is required. Good computer skills and knowledge of the T4 system are advantageous, as well as a B driver's license.
