Your New Job

In your new job, you will be part of a student health team where collaboration between different parties, both internally and externally, is part of your daily routine. In this team, and in the school at large, you will contribute your medical expertise to all matters concerning the student's schooling and daily life.

In your student health team, you will contribute your experience and knowledge to the establishment of a new school organization and you are driven by the desire to be involved in various parts of the operations to provide knowledge and perspectives beyond the medical aspects. You will focus on health-promoting and health-preventive work to ensure that the student's learning is as good as possible. Your tasks will include health conversations, vaccinations, issues related to students' working environment, and open reception at the school, as well as, to a large extent, questions concerning the student health team's working methods, structures, and routines.

Your employment is located within Djupadal School but is shared 50% with an adapted primary school located in the same premises.

Your Competence

We are looking for someone who is a licensed nurse, with specialized training in pediatrics, district nursing, or school nursing.

As a person, you find it easy to collaborate and have a good ability to create positive relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues at the school. You understand and empathize with others' situations and enjoy working with young people and seeing them grow and develop. In your daily work, you take responsibility for planning your own tasks and drive them forward. You plan and make well-considered priorities and have a good ability to adapt to changing circumstances. You thrive in working together with your colleagues to jointly develop the operations.

As a school nurse, you will be part of the school's student health team and work closely with other professionals. You will also be an obvious and important part of the school's promotional and preventive work and will be involved in this work in various ways in different forums. You need good computer skills and a good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Experience in school health care, primary care, or pediatric medicine is an advantage. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and ability to collaborate.
